These Terms apply to the website www.ferz.co and to everything you buy from FERZ Chess Club: event tickets, Club Membership, gift vouchers and chess sets. FERZ is operated by FERZ LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("FERZ", "we", "us"). By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to buy on this website. Most FERZ events take place at licensed venues where guests must be 21 or older and carry a valid ID. The venue's entry rules always apply.
After payment you receive a confirmation email with your e-ticket. Show it at the entrance or give the name on the order. Where a ticket type includes a +1, your guest arrives together with you.
The time, venue and dress code of each event are shown on the event page and on your ticket. Programs, performers and guest grandmasters may change for reasons beyond our control; we will tell you about any significant change.
Tickets are non-refundable. You can transfer your ticket to another person by letting us know on WhatsApp at least 24 hours before the event. If we cancel or postpone an event, you can choose a full refund or a ticket to another FERZ night.
Club Membership gives access to FERZ events for 12 months from activation, which we confirm on WhatsApp after payment. Some events have limited capacity, so members reserve their place in advance. Membership is personal and cannot be transferred.
The custom FERZ chess board included with membership is handmade to order; we agree the design and delivery with you after activation. Membership is non-refundable once activated.
Gift vouchers are sold in fixed amounts and delivered as a downloadable certificate right after payment. A voucher can be used for event tickets, Club Membership or chess sets: send us the certificate or order number on WhatsApp or by email. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase, cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-refundable.
Our chess sets are handmade, so colours, textures and dimensions may vary slightly from the photos. All products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities or decline an order, for example when a price or description contains an error.
Prices are shown in UAE dirhams (AED). Any applicable taxes and fees are shown at checkout before you pay. We accept bank cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider; we never store your card details. An order is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email.
We ship chess sets worldwide. Because our sets are heavy and handmade, we calculate shipping individually after your order and send you the delivery options to choose from. International orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes, which are paid by the customer.
You can return a chess set within 14 days of delivery if it is unused, in its original packaging and comes with proof of purchase. Custom and personalised items can only be returned if they are faulty. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item is faulty or we made a mistake. Refunds go to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the return.
Private events, corporate nights and brand collaborations are agreed individually. Their scope, price, payment schedule and cancellation terms are set out in a separate proposal or contract.
FERZ events are photographed and filmed. By attending, you agree that photos and videos in which you appear may be used on our website and social media. If you prefer not to be featured, tell our team at the event or write to us and we will remove the content.
FERZ and the venue may refuse entry or ask a guest to leave, without a refund, in case of disruptive behaviour or a breach of the venue's rules.
All content on this website, including texts, photographs, videos, logos and designs, belongs to FERZ or its partners and may not be used without our written permission.
To the extent permitted by law, FERZ is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the website, our products or attendance at our events. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page on the date of your order applies to that order.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
